How it works
- 1
Pick the pictures
In the order they should read.
- 2
Stack or side by side
Whichever suits them.
- 3
Join
One image, ready to send.
The problem
A conversation, a statement or a form's instructions ran to four screenshots because a phone screen is a phone screen. Sending four pictures makes whoever receives them scroll through four attachments and work out the order for themselves.
What SahiScan does
Pick the screenshots in the order they should read and they come back as one tall image. One attachment, in the right order, that reads the way it did on your screen.
The details that matter
- Nothing is stretched or shrunk. Pictures from the same phone are the same width and the join is exact; a narrower one gets a white margin beside it rather than being blown up, because enlarging is what makes small text mushy - and small text is usually the reason for the screenshot.
- Side by side as well as stacked, for a before and after or a two-page spread.
- The order is the order you put them in. Move any of them up or down before joining, and take one out if it crept in.
- There is a ceiling, and the app says so rather than running out of memory: a very long stitch is refused with a message instead of closing the app.
Questions people ask
How do I combine screenshots into one picture?
Open SahiScan and tap Join images, then pick the screenshots in the order they should read. They come back as one tall picture you can send as a single attachment.
How can I merge two photos side by side?
Choose Side by side instead of Stacked before joining. It is the same tool - it lays the pictures left to right rather than top to bottom, which suits a before and after.
Will joining make my screenshots blurry?
No. Nothing is enlarged or shrunk. Pictures from the same phone are the same width and the join is exact; a narrower one gets a white margin beside it instead of being stretched.
Can I change the order after picking them?
Yes. Each picture can be moved up or down, or taken out, before you join them - and the order you leave them in is the order they appear.
Is there a limit to how many I can join?
There is a size ceiling, and the app tells you rather than running out of memory. If a stitch would be too large, join fewer at a time.
