Unlock a PDF
Remove the password from a statement or payslip you can open.
The problem
The bank statement came with a password. The loan portal will not take a locked file and does not ask for the password - it just rejects the upload.

The details that matter
- It needs the password. It opens a document you can already open; it does not guess, and a wrong password is simply wrong.
- Statement passwords are usually built from your name and date of birth. The email or message the file came with says which, and in what order.
- Nothing about the document changes except the lock: the pages, their text and the file size stay as they were.
