Make a PDF searchable
Search and copy the words in a scanned PDF.
The problem
A scanned PDF looks like a document and behaves like a photo. Search finds nothing in it, and copying a roll number means typing it out.
What SahiScan does
Choose the scan. Every page is read and the words are laid invisibly over where they appear, so search highlights them in place.
The details that matter
- The pages look exactly as they did. The text layer is invisible, so nothing is drawn over the scan.
- Pages that already have text are left alone, so a partly typed document is not given every word twice.
- Read from the page, so check names and numbers before you rely on them. A sharp scan reads best.
